In order to ensure the highest levels of quality and customer service possible for our clients, we have heavily invested in MHCA personnel. Qualified individuals include experienced licensed, certified, and designated appraisers and well-trained customer service and quality control representatives, all with USPAP training and professional communication skills. Executive team members have served, or are serving, on Appraiser Licensing and Certification Boards, industry boards under Congressional oversight, development and instruction of education, textbook development, FDIC insured bank boards, industry leading professional boards and committees, public presentation, and relevant published thought leadership. Utilizing our regulatory expertise, obtained through market change tenure, leading edge products, insights, and unparalleled servicing is our goal.

MICHAEL H. CHRISTENSEN, SRA, CRE
Mr. Christensen is President of MHCA providing innovative professional real estate counseling and collateral services to the financial markets. He has also served in senior and executive roles with other real estate due diligence and collateral servicing firms, including Security National Financial Corporation, CoreLogic, and the LandAmerica Financial Group of Companies.
Although real estate valuation is his foundational profession, Michael has more than 25 years of executive experience in innovative client relations, market development, contract negotiation, and operations management. He is qualified as an expert witness in Utah District and Federal Bankruptcy Courts, served two terms as Governor's appointee to the Utah Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board; serving as vice chair and chair of that board, and recently served on the board of directors for an FDIC insured Bank. He has served on a variety of public, private, and industry boards, committees, and panels. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management, as well as the SRA and CRE professional designations offered by the Appraisal Institute Counselors of Real Estate, respectively.

THEDDI WRIGHT CHAPPELL, CRE, MAI, FRICS, AAPI, LEED ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL
Theddi Wright Chappell, CRE, FRICS, MAI, AAPI, LEED AP, is the Chief Appraiser for MHCA, responsible for residential and commercial valuation quality control and client communications. She specializes in valuation consulting, due diligence, impact investing, and optimizing real estate returns for our clients. Ms. Chappell is a national and international speaker and educator on the implications of green strategies on asset value. She is a curriculum and webinar developer and trainer, presenting throughout the US for the Appraisal Institute, US Green Building Council, ULI, USGBC (Greenbuild), CREW (Commercial Real Estate for Women), Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, National Association of Realtors, the Real Estate Roundtable, NYU Shack Institute of Real Estate, and numerous banks and lending institutions. She currently sits on the Appraiser Standards Board of The Appraisal Foundation. Ms. Chappell’s career in the valuation and consulting field has spanned more than 25 years, working with clients throughout the US and Canada, in Europe and Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree as well as the MAI, CRE, FRICS, and LEED AP professional designations offered by the Appraisal Institute, The Counselors of Real Estate, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and LEED Accredited Professional. Additionally, she holds the AAPI, ULI, GBFC, USGBC, and FIGP US and international professional organizations.

HENRY S. KESLER, MAI, CMB
Mr. Kesler is currently Vice President, focusing on providing appraisal reviews for loan underwriting, quality control, and litigation purposes. He is a real estate professional with over 40 years of diverse experience in appraising and financing both commercial and residential real estate properties. He is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute, currently licensed as a Certified General Appraiser, has earned the Certified Mortgage Banker designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association, and is a licensed real estate broker. Mr. Kesler has also taught appraisal and finance at several educational institutions. In his career Mr. Kesler has personally appraised a wide variety of residential and commercial properties, and has been the senior review appraiser for several financial institutions. Henry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and MBA degree in finance, as well as the MAI professional designation offered by the Appraisal Institute.

TYLER C. CHARLESWORTH
Mr. Charlesworth currently serves as Director of Quality for Michael H. Christensen & Associates, Inc. His 20 years of experience as a certified fee appraiser, as well as successful AMC appraisal quality control and training, uniquely qualifies him for this role. Appraisers and clients enjoy working with him due to his regulatory, HUD, and Fannie Mae (USPAP, UCDP, CU, UAD) guideline knowledge and practical solution-driven communications. Tyler is also directly involved in high profile client communications and has been successful in preparing appraisers for complex rebuttals with GSEs.

NATHAN T. KINGSFORD
Nathan Kingsford began his appraisal career in 2016 doing appraisal review work for Select Appraisal Management. From there he quickly got certified as a residential real estate appraiser. Since being certified, Nathan has quickly broadened his appraisal skill set and knowledge, bringing a fresh view into the appraisal world. Nathan received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah. While there, he learned practical management and leadership skills while serving as the team president and team captain of the school rugby team. These skills prepared him as he now serves as our Director of Training and Research, while being a full time fee appraiser.

Natasha Nay
Natasha Nay joined the MHCA Leadership Team after many years at CoreLogic and Select Appraisal Management, Inc., as the Director of Operations. Utilizing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and experience in process and business management, as well as software support and testing, Natasha is responsible for managing day-to-day processing, client communications, associate relations, and office organization. She utilizes her depth of experience and education to ensure the MHCA operational engine runs smoothly, consistently, and efficiently. In addition, Natasha manages the accounting team. Natasha is USPAP trained and fully understands the real estate appraiser and valuation process.
